New at FPC

Welcome

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church. We are a multi-generational congregation, and it is our desire to offer worship, education, and mission opportunities that address the spiritual needs of everyone. Wherever you are on the journey, know you are welcome here in worship, service and fellowship as we share God’s love and grow in faith.

We understand every church community has its own personality, and hope you’ll find that Kinston FPC is welcoming and friendly. Below is a list of frequently asked questions. If you would like to know more, we invite you to email our church office at info@fpckinston.org.

A parking lot is available on Presbyterian Lane, beside the sanctuary. Side street parking is available on both Darby Avenue and Parrott Avenue with entrances into the sanctuary from both. Designated parking for persons with disabilities is marked in all 3 areas.

Where can I take my child?

FPC loves having children as part of our worshiping community. We have several Sunday morning opportunities for them to grow in their faith. A nursery is provided for young children, staffed by professional childcare workers, from 9:30 am until the end of worship. The nursery is located in the education wing which can be accessed from the sanctuary. Sunday School and Children’s Choir is offered, during the school year, for children preschool through 5th grade from 9:15am-10:15am.

How do I get connected and learn more about the church?

FPC is a large community to navigate, however, through many small group opportunities, studies, fellowship events, and opportunities to serve together, it’s easy to get connected. If you have questions, feel free to contact our pastor or our office.

How do I become a member of FPC?

To become a member of FPC, individuals make or renew a profession of faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior and make a commitment to serve as his disciple within this community of faith.
